Sing choirs of Angels – A Christmas Festival is a Christmas celebration event featuring choirs and solo acts from around the Pocatello area. Held at the renowned Stephen’s Performing Arts Center- Jensen Hall, this event, first organized in 2011, and hosted and sponsored by the YSSA Institute Choir on the ISU campus, was designed to bring together diverse talents and cultures from around the local community, celebrating Christmas in a spirit of unity and community. It was a smashing success with more than 800 audience members attending each of the events in the years 2011 and 2012.

When the institute
program no longer had the funds to sponsor Sing Choirs of Angels, a group was
formed to raise money through corporate sponsorships and private donations to
revive Sing Choirs Of Angels as an annual event. An Idaho State non-profit organization was
formed, the venue secured, choirs invited and we are now ready for Sing Choirs
Of Angels 2015 on December 18.
Sing Choirs Of Angels 2015 will be hosted by the AF Sharps from American Falls and will include The Century Singers, TaVaci Children’s Choir, Praise Temple Singers, a Pocatello area Barbershop group, Dave Bowman on piano, and soloist Connie Kendall.
A budget of
$5,000 is needed to present this unique celebration. Money is used for the following: Venue rental
fee, promotion, printing of tickets, invitations and programs, and for the cost
of refreshments served during a social gathering at the conclusion of the
concert. All are invited to attend,
especially children accompanied by their parents. There is no charge for attendance.
To date we
have raised $3,500 with Bingham Memorial Hospital providing the largest portion
of that sum. We continue to seek an
additional $1,500. Your sponsorship in
any amount would be greatly appreciated.
Your business will be prominently
featured on the event programs as
a sponsor and announced by the emcee at the event.
